What do I bring?

• Tennis Shoes / Rubber soled shoes or boots

• Clothes for the weather (Many mornings are foggy and damp getting started a disposable rain poncho helps)

• Sunglasses and sunscreen

• Plenty of food & drinks ~ The ocean air makes you hungry & thirsty

• Coolers & plastic bags for your fish

• Camera

What to do before the trip?

• Get a good nights rest before the charter

• Avoid Greasy foods

• Avoid alcohol before sailing

• Take Dramamine or Bonine the night before and at least 1 hour before sailing if you tend to get sea sick

Can I have alcohol on-board?

• Yes beer and wine in moderation No hard alcohol

• River Rebel is a Drug free vessel

We use various live and fresh baits on light tackle to pursue and catch trophy game fish. With our proven methods, anglers of all skill levels will enjoy the exciting challenges that our fisheries have to offer. Every angler gets their own outfit. We begin in May in the upper bay for extreme Striper action, then as the waters warm we move with the fish. By June we are at Block Island or Cuttyhunk and Martha’s Vineyard points east, baiting and battling trophy fish on the lightest tackle possible. When our offshore fishing is within our range, we will take full day trips for Tuna and Shark.
